Country Club
Country Club is a middle-class Italian-American neighborhood located in the East Bronx in New York City. Given both the demographics and geography it can feel more like Queens than like the Bronx. Sharing the 10465 ZIP code with Throgs Neck (despite the fact that it is actually part of Pelham Bay), the neighborhood's boundaries are Pelham Bay Park to the north, Eastchester Bay to the east, Fairmount Avenue to the south, and the New England Thruway to the west.

the median household income is $46,046
51% of households are headed by single persons
49% of households headed by married couples
70% of households have children
58.9% of residents are white collar workers
Property values in Country Club exceed the national average.

Quality of life

Country Club, along with Riverdale, Woodlawn, Throgs Neck, and City Island is considered one of the nicest areas of the Bronx. Neighborhood homes include small brick houses built during the 1950s with both back and front yards. Walking down one of the many blocks one can notice the greenery of trees and grass.

Country Club residents enjoy for the most part a neighborhood that is safe and clean. The largest public park in New York City, Pelham Bay Park, is located nearby, as well as Orchard Beach. Residents are also five minutes away from the great seafood restaurants on City Island in Eastchester Bay.
